The F2.8 Protégé Club call this month is going to fun! As a matter of fact, my special guest Jim Poor and I thought we should open this call up for everyone! Those of you who are not members of the F2.8 Protégé Club yet can get a feel of what it is like.
Jim, an excellent photographer, is very knowledgeable about dogs as well as photography. I am working on my questions for him as I have a lot of them.
What about you? Send me your questions for Jim about photographing dogs, cats, and birds and join us on February 20!
Learn more and sign up here. You can also read more in today’s e-zine in the teleseminars and events section below.
Remember, even if you can not be on the call live, sign up anyway. A recording will be made available to those who sign up!
How to significantly improve your products and services by dreaming!
When we are done with July’s F2.8 Protégé Club teleseminar:
- You are going to be able to create a product or service that stands out from the competition.
- Your services will become what people prefer over other choices.
- You can increase your prices and have greater profit by offering more value to your customers.
How?
By dreaming! It is kind of like brainstorming, so you will be awake for this! I will teach you how. This process has been one of those Ah-Hah moments for me and will be a valuable experience for you.
You might even be shocked when I tell you how I will be changing and raising my session fees in my portrait studio. It is this process of defining the gap that will enable me to do it. I’ll be sharing many examples on the call.
This amazingly simple exercise is adapted from the book “Awaken the Entrepreneur Within” by Michael E. Gerber and I have been using it often. Get the book!
I will make you a worksheet that you can use to guide you through the process during and after call. So be sure and join me, I am excited to share this with you!
Join me and my guest for a teleseminar!

Here is a great example of how imposing a deadline on yourself makes a big difference in your progress whether it is a personal project or a business one.
As part of Barb Gordon Photo Coach, I am offering membership in the first two tiers of the Protégé Club. (You can click here to learn more about the memberships.) Included in both membership tiers is a monthly Teleclass and online digital audio recording of the call. This is a new and not so comfortable step for me- going LIVE and recording it. Not only because I have not done this before, it was also seemed daunting picking the first topic, learning how to call in and record it, having the right notes in front of me, trying to adlib enough so I didn’t just read my notes, all of the other stuff related with going LIVE.
I had to force myself to pick a deadline. In this case, a date that the class would start. Even though I felt unprepared and under trained, I had to remind myself of one of my mottos: “Progress Not Perfection” and just make it happen. As the date drew near the event came together and it went fine!
The point is, had I not had a deadline, I would have pushed this to the backburner more than once because it was just enough out of my comfort zone. Now that I have one done, my checklists are created, my confidence is better, and I am ready to add a guest to next month’s call! The date is April 19, 2010, go get signed up!
