“Intrigue”

An image from Krista’s senior portrait session became one of my very successful entries for print competition. Her beautiful eyes inspired me to dig through my fabric pile and I found one that matched.

The Professional Photographers of America (PPA) hosts an international print competition every year at the national convention. Over 5,000 entries are received for judging.

Only 500 worthy images each year are selected to be kept by PPA for their Traveling Loan Collection display that displays all over the country promoting professional photography.

The Loan Collection images are also published in the PPA Loan Collection book.

Your coach, Barb, owns Gordon Photography & Gallery, www.GordonPhotography.Biz,  and she enters print competition on a regular basis. Print competition is held at the state, regional, and international level at the conventions. Entering competition is a great learning experience. Winning awards also impresses your clients, strenghtens your brand, and validates you as a true professional. It is also quite an exciting experience!
